right-clicking on a drive and then choosing Properties, you can easily
determine what file system the drive has. Do so on each of your drives,
and record the information here. List the maximum size each of the
partitions could be based on the file system (pretend your hard drive is
infinitely large at the moment).

default, Windows XP and Windows 7 do not show the extension of files by
default, which can be frustrating for the technician. Determine how to
enable the viewing of the file extensions, and then enable this viewing on your
PC. Record the steps you took to enable this option for both Windows XP
and Windows 7.
