help students in completing and turning in assignments. The list of
oral presentation topics are below.
Your first oral presentation must be from the first two unit groupings (the links in red font). Your second presentation must be from the last two groupings (the links in purple font). To sum up, students must do one presentation from the red and one presentation from the purple topics. Students can make a selection from the list below and write a brief summary on it (between one to two pages typed, double-spaced), as well as provide a brief oral discussion in class. If you would like to do a topic that is not on the list that is fine. Just check with me first and show me the topic so I can determine which unit it belongs in. Many of the links are located at the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Occasionally, they will ask you to fill out a form before you can access the website. You can use your real information if you want, or you can just make up a name to get to the website. As a reminder when writing your summary, if the article you choose is from a few years ago and they use the phrase "last week" or "this year" please adjust your writing to reflect the time changes.
